We are excited for the upcoming PPA Formal Recital!
WHERE AND WHEN
Date: Saturday, January 26, 2019
Times:
Section 1 - 10:30am-11:15am
Section 2 - 12:30pm-1:45pm
Students may select either recital section.
Students are required to arrive 15 minutes early and to stay for their entire section. Recital spots are given on a first come, first served basis
Please do not sign up for the recital if you need to arrive late or leave early.
Place: Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts Second Stage.
500 Castro Street, Mountain View.
TICKETS
Ticket purchase: this venue requires ticket purchase for audience members.
Tickets are not required for student performers.
Ticket Cost: $10 adults, $7 students

TICKETS are REQUIRED if you want to be an audience member.
PROCEDURES
Student Preparation: each student will perform one memorized selection of their choice
Student Dress: formal. No jeans. No tennis shoes. No t-shirts. Boys should wear trousers and a collared shirt or a suit. Girls should wear a blouse, trousers, a skirt or a dress. Hair should be pulled back away from your face.
DRESS REHEARSAL
Students will practice performing their recital piece during the week of January 21-25 as part of their regular Performance and Progress class.
SIGNING UP FOR THE RECITAL
1) confirm your recital piece with your weekly teacher
2) fill out the information on the spreadsheet that corresponds with the recital section you prefer

3) check the spreadsheet the day after you fill out the information. If your student is marked CONFIRMED in the STATUS column and you may purchase your tickets.
